Meet Dr. Bret Scher: The Host Behind Metabolic Mind

Metabolic Mind producer Erica Gerard turns the tables and interviews Dr. Scher about the experiences, patients, and pivotal moments that challenged his thinking and reshaped his approach to medicine.

Kimi and Erica discuss last week's episode with Haley Holm, a veteran air force pilot and transgender woman who bravely shared her story for the first time on All The Wiser. Erica reflects on the pain of hiding one's true self and the accompanying feelings of guilt and shame.

Sometimes we just need to admit we’re mad. While society may not always make space for women's anger, when we reflect on the challenges we face today, it can be hard not to feel it. Why do women still carry the heaviest load of care in relationships? Why are we still criticized for our ambition and judged for maintaining our independence?

Guesting

In this raw and unfiltered conversation, Erin and Erica get personal as they unpack their own relationship journeys and explore the shifting landscape of modern love.
